THEATRE WORKS

This is an archive of theatre works created between 2000 - 2005. These were the initial works of the company, and were presented under the name of the bettybooke.

These were both new works (this distraktit globe + the Belle, the Book, the Beast) and radical re-interpretations of classic texts (The Changeling + All's Well - remix). Performed in theatre venues and our own space, City Tiler. Fusing live music, visually arresting imagery, choreographic movement and poetic text, with an emphasis on non-naturalistic performance styles.
